Though it may not feel like spring just yet, thanks to the unpredictable weather we’ve been getting, Easter weekend is only a few days away. That means a total of four days off for those 9-5 workers among us. But what will you do with all that spare time? We’ve rounded up the best places to go and ways to celebrate and the best part is, it’s all at a low cost, so you can save money doing what you love, while wearing what you love.
From strolling in parks, to bottomless brunches, to lunch with friends, there are so many ways to spend your time off and start the new season off right. Still unsure? Here’s how we’ll be spending our long weekends from Easter half term to those May bank holidays we’re all anticipating.
Brunching
Followed by a night on the town or a night in with those you love, a tasty meal and drink of choice sets you up for a weekend of laughs with good company. Plus, it makes the perfect excuse to dress up!
Indulge in a range of dishes, from egg benedict and breakfast hash to fluffy pancakes and French toast. Whether your brunching at home, or in a restaurant-bar, drinking cocktails, reminiscing and making memories is what it’s all about.
To really keep the cost low, consider hosting brunch from home. With a quality playlist and quick shopping trip, all you have left to plan is the guest list.

Nature Walks
Embrace the incoming season with a long walk. After all, now is the perfect time to stretch those legs. A refreshing wander is not only good exercise but it may just be what you need to clear your mind of all work-related stress, ready for a long weekend out of the office.
Soak in spring with a visit to one of the UK’s most popular pink tree parks. From Greenwich Park in London to Sizergh Castle in Cumbria there are plenty of beautiful (and free) nature sites. Simply choose the one closest to you and pack a picnic!
Day Tripping
To save money, keep your day tripping local by visiting your nearby village or seatown town. Whether taking in the sites or spending the afternoon on the beach, be prepared by packing snacks the night before. Fancy a treat? Why not book in an afternoon tea or Sunday dinner to finish the day in style.
Where will you find us this weekend? At our nearest shopping centre, soaking in those bank holiday details. On a budget? We recommend window shopping. Treat yourself to all of the pleasure, and none of the cost.

Self-Care
Whatever your treatment of choice, whether it’s a DIY face-mask or a professional deep tissue massage at your nearest spa, you deserve a day dedicated to self-care. Grab your nearest and dearest, relax and catch up over a glass of fizz in the hot tub or on the sofa.
Whether you’re spending this weekend alone or with your loved ones, everyone can enjoy a dedicated self-care evening. Simply put on your favourite film or playlist and run a bubble bath. Can you think of a better way to end the week?
Whatever you decide to do this weekend, one thing is for certain- you should be wearing something fabulous…
