Passion To Profession: Influencer Q+A Featuring TrishBhatt

This week, we were joined by Trish Bhatt. A London-based, coffee-loving influencer with a passion for photography, videography, and all things visual. She has built a gathering on social media by giving her followers an insight into her life, fashion styling, and luxury travel adventures.

How did you hear about Gabor?

One day, I was at my local John Lewis in London, when I bumped into the brand! I looked more into the name and found the Gabor Shoe’s website and Instagram page. I ended up falling in love with the wide range of styles they had available, especially their knee-high boots, which cater for those like me with a smaller calf size!

What is your favourite quality about the shoes?

They are stylish and comfortable! The quality of the shoes not looks great, but also feels great. They are also comfy for everyday use.

How Did You Get Started In Social Media?

Well, not that long ago, I decided to leave my 9-5 grind and do more of what I love. Together with my husband Ash, we began to travel the world more and discover new places. During these adventures, I discovered my love for documenting every moment and social media.

There was something magical about capturing those special moments in film or video. So the ‘content’ was made with the intention of making a positive influence with the hope of inspiring others to do the same!

How would you describe your style?

I love creating looks that are both simple to piece together and comfortable to wear while maintaining that chic factor. I generally love warmer weather, which is why dresses are my go-to, and you can easily see this from looking at my Instagram feed! I always try the find the perfect balance between style and comfort.

If I could describe it in one line it would be –“Less is More!”

Are there any fashion trends you have been following?

The way you dress describes who you are!

I always try to focus on styles that suit me personally. I have learned over time that fashion is different for everyone; one outfit may look great on one body but completely different on another.

I am always careful to adapt my style to outfits that compliment my shape. I invest in pieces that I genuinely love and can use for a long time. After all, incorporating sustainability into our everyday wardrobe will also benefit our planet, as we all have a responsibility to look after it.

Choose an outfit that works for you and makes you feel comfortable. If you feel great in your outfit, it will boost your confidence too!

What made you want to share your outfit styling ideas and experiences on social media?

It’s easy to feel like you have to blend in, but it takes courage to live your life with conviction and embrace who you are.

Being petite, it’s always a struggle to find the right piece that fits me well for my day-to-day styling and occasion wear. There is verily little petite styling content available on the internet, so I mostly end up experimenting with different fashion choices that work for me! I am sure there will be countless others like me with the same issue; so I thought why not share my outfit ideas with the community and offer a little style inspo without much hassle.

Where did the passion for film and photography originally come from?

I was fond of cameras as a kid. Over time, I discovered more reasons to love it and kept developing my skills and knowledge so the bond between myself and it only got stronger! Even today, I never miss an opportunity to learn. Building a career in social media has helped to keep my passion alive.

Why did you decide to turn it into a career?

I believe social media can positively impact one’s life, and I’m fascinated by how it has connected people and businesses all over the world!

I ended up launching my own studio, where I used everything I’ve learned along the journey to create astonishing, high-end visual content to help individuals and businesses to make their mark on digital platforms. I wanted to help the constantly growing community succeed and introduce their brand while making meaningful connections with their intended audience. Do you have any advice for anyone looking at becoming an influencer?

Be willing to be a beginner every morning. I’m not promising an easy road, but if you are willing to put in some hard work, you will get there! If you are passionate and determined then follow your dreams! Make choices that will make you happy and have a positive change on your life and society around you.

If you could change one thing about social media what would it be?

It would have to be how addicting it can be! It’s a great platform for personal learning and keeping up with the latest trends but you have to be mindful to use it in moderation. Especially if you’re looking at a career as an influencer!

Do you currently have any exciting projects for the future that you would like to share with us?
