What Is Random Acts Of Kindness Day?
The 17th of February marks the day where people are encouraged to perform simple acts of kindness for others and promote positivity, love, and appreciation of others, whether they are friends or family with the goal of making the world a better place.
A small gesture can go a long way in terms of impacting someone’s mood and can even brighten up their day. It doesn’t even have to take much to make someone feel special or appreciated. There are plenty of ways we can make a positive impact to those around us such as with a compliment, small gift or simply lending an ear to listen to them.
It is important to remember that everyone has their own unique circumstances they may be experiencing. Everyone is different! It’s important to be empathetic to everyone. Encourage your friends and family to join in on the day by sharing ideas on how to be kind and make a difference to inspire others.
Support those who are in need of some extra love and attention and take some time out to elevate them by reaching out to them. It’s a day to focus on small acts, it does not have to be elaborate or flashy and can be things as simple as holding the door for someone. While it is celebrated on the 17th of February, you can continue to keep spreading the kindness and positivity to others in your everyday life.
