How to wear Mary Jane court shoes three different ways

March 28, 2024 • Gabor Shoes

Offering a modern take on the classic Mary Jane silhouette, the Belva women's court shoes are a fashion-forward pair to style alongside all of your favourite outfits. If you haven't already guessed, their one of our favourites here at Gabor Shoes UK. But how did this classic design become the shoe of the season?

Mary Jane Court Shoes not only play into trending fashion aesthetics like balletcore, they also pair well with a variety of styles, making them the perfect capsule classic to add to both your everyday and office wardrobes. A trusted companion for women, and girls alike, their iconic double strap across the instep, makes Mary Janes one of those style from our school days that we will always love. Yet the dreaded question remains "What can we pair them with?" Keep reading and find out...

A timeless combination - an oversized blazer and dress of your choice for spring/summer styling. Once you've found the perfect dress to compliment your Mary Jane's, you'll be making plans just to wear them.

Perfect for those out-all-day plans, this outfit is made for busy weekends - from brunching with friends to shopping the highstreets. Add plain black accessories like a shoulder bag or sunglasses on bright days to really pull the outfit together.

Not your colour? The great thing about black shoes is that they go with everything. Try swapping out the blazer for a pastel pink or camel trench coat and long black dress for a warmer trans-seasonal look.

This outfit does whatever you want it to. You've got plans to meet up with friends? You're attending a family gathering? Errands to run? Throw on your favourite dark denim jeans and patterned long sleeve top. It's a look so effortless and versatile that you'll want to wear it every day and the best part is you can... Take your court shoes into colder months by adding socks and a long coat. And of course, we recommend keeping those sunglasses strictly spring/summer only.

Trendy and timeless, there's no compromising on comfort with these modern Mary Jane's. Whether that means swapping jeans out for leggings on those slouchy kind of days, the round toe silhouette and small block heel that define Belva court shoes make them the perfect pair for everyday styling.

Elegant and minimal, pair Belva court shoes with tailored trousers and a blouse when introducing it to your office wardrobe. A timeless, yet practical block heel paired with your lucky power suit is just what your work wardrobe needs to keep you feeling confident throughout the day.

For a more laid back look, swap the blazer out for a soft knitted cardigan, channeling office elegance while maintaining that relaxed cosy kind of feeling usually reserved for weekends.
