Family Favourites
Hocus Pocus

With comedy elements and a Halloween theme, this cult classic is a must-watch every year.
The Addams Family
When a loan shark learns about an eccentric and affluent family’s missing relative, she convinces her son to pretend to be their long-lost uncle with a plan to rob the family.
A parody of an ideal American family, The Addams Family is iconic blending humour with a gothic theme.
Corpse Bride
A young man accidently brings a deceased woman back to life when practicing his wedding vows near her grave. Trouble starts when she believes he is married to her.
More fantasy than horror, this dramatic animation isn’t your average cartoon – perfect if you’re after something a little bit different.
Scooby-Doo
This list wouldn’t be complete without a classic. Five friends are reunited at a spooky amusement park after a two year hiatus from monster hunting to investigate strange occurrences.
Hilariously funny with characters we know and love, this adventure movie is an easy watch this Halloween.
Horror Picks
If you’re after something scarier than the above, you’re in the right place. The films on this list will leave you too scared to sleep - we recommend having a blanket to hand to hide under when necessary!
The Conjuring
Based on a true story, this film follows the investigation of a haunted house after a family starts experiencing mysterious and ghostly activity.
This one is not for the faint hearted with a chilling and terrifying storyline, and plenty of jumpy moments.
IT
Set in 1989, a group of kids come together to destroy a shape-shifting monster who preys on children disguising itself as a clown.
This supernatural horror has everything from jump-scares to gore – definitely worth watching with the lights on if you want a decent night’s sleep after.
The Woman In Black
A lawyer is forced to travel to a rural village to settle the estate of a recently deceased woman. He discovers her sinister spirit terrorising the local village and its children.
Although technically suitable for younger audience, do not be fooled, this film will leave you trembling.
A Quiet Place
A family lives in a world overrun by blind but sound-sensitive creatures who are out to kill. In order to survive, they are forced to communicate with each other silently, desperate to find a way to fight back.
More of an action-thriller with horror elements, this paranormal watch will keep you on the edge of your seat.
